Hanging Baskets

Our new irrigation system is just great. It was put in by Jovi Landscape. What is especially nice is the all the baskets and pots are watered even if the system is bypassed because of the rain indicator. This is good since most of the baskets are under the eaves. Also, just because we put in the irrigation system, we have gotten a ton of rain. Amazing. Here is one of the "lesser" baskets by the roses.

Crepe Myrtle

Mom wanted me to put up the pictures of the Crepe Myrtle in the back yard. It is awesome this year.

Front New Garden

I thought that I would post these since they are the pictures shortly after we planted the new garden area and also before all the sod was laid. Everything has grown so much it is amazing. I will post some more pictures of this area later.

Memory Garden

This is the beginning of the walkway into the memory garden.

This is the corner of the memory garden. This year we ran the walk all the way to the left and to the pool pump. This is variegated ginger in the back that is so beautiful.

This is the expanded walkway to the pool equipment.

This is the purple themed garden I put in two years ago to the right of the new walkway.

These are some of the purple plants in the garden.

This is new variation of fuschia that is supposed to take the Houston heat. It is doing great now.

New Cactus in the Family

We had tried multiple plants in this concrete pig, and finally have decided to try a cactus. I think it looks like a caterpillar. Pretty cool.

Mom just loves her cactus gardens and this little one rewarded her with beautiful blooms.
